Senior Consultant Team Lead - Implemented Serena Collage CMS as part of total site re-architecture for non-profit organization ($130M revenues 2004) external and internal sites, delivering on time and under budget, including over $180K saved by integrating a separate, 2 year-old uninitiated project into the deliverables. Led web team in site and information architecture resulting in greatly improved site performance and usability. Assisted business units/content owners and project managers in identifying what and how content is to be delivered to the Web, including government required daily real-time reporting. Designed user interfaces for content contributors. Recommended and led strategy for successful batch migration of over 100,000 documents into the new CMS from a highly restricted server. Authored Web Patterns (web governance and publishing models), Developer and User Guides and conducted user training. Managed 4 large channels serving one of the largest communities online (approximately 20 million subscribed members, affiliated with NBC, MSNBC). Worked with channel producers (business units) to create and maintain revolving content for public messageboards and interactive events to grow membership. Directed 40+ remote, global volunteer staff. Interfaced with guest experts invited to large-scale chats; acted as vendor liaison.
